Helena Loução is a multidisciplinary artist who blends cooking and drawing into an exploration of themes like free expression, identity, food literacy and ecology.

She has always been known as someone who draws, and over time, became someone who cooks, incorporating this practice into her work as a freelance artist. Drawing has evolved into a way for her to express cooking, and cooking, in turn, has become a means of self-expression, both through flavor and visually.

Helena has always been inclined to try things she is not naturally good at, but wish she was. This drive to improve helps her shape who she wants to become, and it plays a significant role in influencing her artistic practice.

Criatividade ao Lume

"Criatividade ao Lume" is a project that explores creativity and ecology through visual arts and cooking.

It uses plant-based ingredients as a starting point for both drawing and cooking.

Helena aims to share a way of cooking that makes space for improvisation, deconstruction, play, and flavor — inviting you to become familiar with a plant-based, seasonal, and root-to-stem kitchen.

The project takes shape through art, writing, illustration, and workshops.
